Colby Lewis is the President of Alpine Contracting, plays the role of CEO, and is also a Project Manager. Colby started working part time in high school for his father who was the owner of a small residential company in Corpus Christi called Triple Coast Construction where he learned many fundamentals of construction and grew a strong passion to the industry. After high school he went off to Texas Tech University where he would get his Degree in Construction Engineering in 2006. Colby’s college internship included working for Bay ltd (A Berry Company) where he was a pipe fitters assistant on a $120 million dollar Valero refining Desulfurization Unit on the Corpus Christi Port where he would learn what hard work really was in the South Texas heat. In 2008, Colby obtained his “Engineer in Training” Certification (E.I.T) after a couple of attempts of taking the test. Colby’s first job was an estimator for Bartlett Cocke and bid on projects ranging up to $100 million dollars. Colby later worked for Jimmy Evans Company Sitework Contractors as Project Manager on large subdivisions including for Centex Homes, several large Multi-family apartments, Military Base work, and many large Commerical buildings. Colby assisted in building the San Antonio Division into a $25 million a year branch. In 2009, Colby cofounded Stalwart Contracting and specialized in Commerical finish-outs. In 2012, Colby was influenced to restart Alpine. “Alpine Construction” was reborn which was originally founded by his grandfather 1957. Colby Is married to Meagan Broadnax Lewis, has 2 sons, 1 daughter, and resides in San Antonio, TX.
