ABOUT:

Colby started working part time in high school for his father who was the owner of a small residential company in Corpus Christi called Triple Coast Construction. He learned the fundamentals of construction and grew a strong passion for the industry. After high school, he attended Texas Tech University and obtained a degree in Construction Engineering in 2006. Colby’s college internship included working for Bay ltd (A Berry Company) as a pipe fitter's assistant on a $120 million dollar Valero refining Desulfurization Unit in the Corpus Christi Port. This is where he learned what hard work really was working in the South Texas heat. In 2008, Colby obtained his “Engineer in Training” Certification. His first job was as an estimator at Bartlett Cocke during which he bid on projects ranging up to $100 million dollars. Colby later worked for Jimmy Evans Company (sitework contractors) as a Project Manager on large subdivisions including Centex Homes, several large multi-family apartments, Military Base work, and many large Commercial buildings. Colby assisted in growing the San Antonio Division into a $25 million a year branch. In 2009, Colby co-founded Stalwart Contracting and specialized in Commercial finish-outs. In 2012, Colby was inspired to re-establish Alpine Contracting, formerly knowns as “Alpine Construction”, originally founded by his grandfather in 1957. Colby is married to Meagan Broadnax Lewis, they have 2 sons and 1 daughter. The Lewis Family resides in San Antonio, TX.
